Architecture and art at Palazzo BelVedere
Fine passions
Architecture and art illuminate our days, they draw our identity. Art that you can breathe everywhere in Palazzo BelVedere, in the corners where you can find the sense of coexistence between light, space and harmony.
We are very attached to the history of architect Giovanni Michelucci, who signed two undisputed masterpieces, the station of Santa Maria Novella in Florence and the Church of the Highway in Campi Bisenzio, with a personal and visionary architectural language not assimilated to any current.

Giovanni Michelucci, architect of a century
He crossed the twentieth century interpreting modernity
with an artistic spirit and a practical approach.
He is our neighbor,
pleased to introduce you to his world.
Tuscany is a land rich in art: every city, every village preserves magnificent treasures that the world admires. Among its illustrious sons, there is an architect from Pistoia with a 'century-long life' who was able to interpret the complexity of the events that portrayed the 20th century with sensitivity, creativity and ingenuity.
We have dedicated a room to Giovanni Michelucci, furnished decor of his own creation, a space in which to relive the spirit of memorable design. In collaboration with the Foundation that bears his name, we have decided to put into production the beautiful 'Scapolare' chair, a wooden seat with an iconic design that guests will find in their room. We have also put into production a limited series of the 'Scapolare’ chiar, Donnini version, with and without pockets, that we have placed in the MOU lounge, at the tables, as a distinctive element of a relationship that we want to be fruitful with the animators of the Foundation. To interested guests, we organize a unique experience in the spaces of the Foundation to admire up close the work of a very particular interpreter of an era in continuous transformation.
